Day by day
Road transfer to the Sirimon gate and a gentle first walk to the Old Moses hut at 3,300m.
Through the Mackinder Valley to Shipton’s at 4,200m. A short acclimatisation walk in the afternoon.
A 3am start for the summit at 4,985m, sunrise over the glaciers, then a long descent to Mintos Hut.
Down past the Gorges Valley and Lake Michaelson, one of the finest stretches on the mountain.
Final descent through bamboo forest to the Chogoria gate, then the transfer out.
